The Startanlge The starter system consists usually of a battery powered direct current motor, the ignition start switch, possibly of a starting relay, a solenoid at the starter engine and the wiring. For starting needed the numbers of revolutions of the engine from approximately 80 to 160 rpm are formed by a suitable translation by engine gear rim and bendix drive. Thrust screwing friction starter with reduction gear Between the starter engine and the pinion additionally a planetary gear is inserted as reduction gear, which has the task to reduce the high number of revolutions of the starter and at the same time to increase the torque at the pinion. Free-wheel It has the task to transfer during the starting procedure the drive moment of the starter engine actuated to the pinion. If the engine starts, i.e. the anchor from the engine is propelled, then it must separate the pinion still which was positioned from the starter engine.

Role free-wheel (picture) It consists of the freewheel driven head with the role sliding curves, the roles and the coil springs. The roles slide on the pinion shank. The role sliding curves narrow themselves in a direction. If the freewheel driven head is propelled by the starter engine, then the roles are pressed into the narrowing part of the role sliding curves; the pinion shank is coupled thereby with the starter engine. After starting the engine the roles of the overhauling pinion, which is propelled now by the engine, are pressed into the further part of the role sliding curves; the grip is solved. Error tracing: Some motor vehicle types use starting relays. The starter is not bestromt therefore directly by the starter lock. As alternative a still unused lug was offered like it for the battery connections the cars HiFi amplifier is used and a 2.5 mm ² to cables. The cable have we 3 subject taken by the cross section to increase… thus received we about 8 mm ². Straight one so sufficiently for 80 -150 ampere.
In order to firmly connect the cable connection between solenoids and coal carriers, the lug screwed onto the solenoid is soldered and the Kohlentraäger with an extra of the cables tapes and likewise soldered. It is to be made certain that the network becomes not too large, and does not line up later at the starter inner wall (earthing)
